I’m Missy, the founder of Lucent Gift. My cancer journey began at when I was just 30. While raising twin babies, I received a shocking colorectal cancer diagnosis. Thankfully, I survived, but 10 years and two children later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, I'm cancer free! Surviving cancer twice has taught me a lot: to slow down, to take risks, and to advocate for myself (read more of my thoughts about these things on our blog!) It also taught me the practical side of walking through chemo and surgeries, and what kind of support a cancer warrior needs.
